Composite and S-Video Inputs
• VCRs
• Camcorders
• DVD players
• Video games
• S-video provides better quality than composite video.
S-Video
• Connect the S-video connector on the HDTV to the S-video connector on the video
component using an S-video cable.
• Connect the AUDIO IN: L and R connectors to the line-level audio outputs on the
video component.
• Select the S-video output on the video component if necessary.
• Consult the instruction manual for your video component for connection and set-up
information.

You may connect both an S-video signal and a composite video signal to any one
video input at the same time. Inputs are selected separately and are indicated on the
screen as separate selections: VIDEO 2, 3, or 8 composite or VIDEO 2, 3, or 8
S-video.
