4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Description of Necessary First-Aid Measures
General Advice In case of accident or unwellness, seek medical advice immediately (show directions for
use or safety data sheet if possible). If symptoms persist, call a physician. Do not get in
eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray.
Eye Contact Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. After initial rinsing, remove any contact lenses and
continue rinsing for at least 15 minutes. Keep eye open while rinsing. If symptoms persist,
call a physician.
Skin Contact Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated
clothes and shoes. If symptoms persist, call a physician. Wash contaminated clothing
before reuse.
Inhalation Move to fresh air. If breathing is irregular, or stopped, administer artificial respiration.
Avoid direct contact with skin. Use barrier to give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. If
symptoms persist, call a physician.
Ingestion Drink plenty of water. Do NOT induce vomiting without medical advice. Rinse mouth.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Consult a physician if necessary.
Self-protection of the first aider Use personal protective equipment as required.
