Installation Instructions
IMPORTANT - Read entire label before using. Application
temperature must be a minimum of 60°F and rising. Do not apply
when temperature is expected to drop below 60 °F within a 24 hour
period. In areas where dew or fog accumulates in the early evening,
it is best to coat in the morning. Stop coating by early afternoon (3:00
pm) to prevent wash off, which will occur if dew, fog, or rain arrives
before coating dries. Do not apply if rain is imminent or forecast
within 24 hours of application. Be sure to wear eye protection when
mixing or applying roof coating.
DESCRIPTION - White Elastomeric Roof Coating is a 100% acrylic
elastomeric rubber-like material designed to protect a variety of roof
surfaces. The outstanding reectivity will lower interior home and
building temperature providing energy savings up to 35%.
USES - A variety of roof surfaces including metal, mobile homes,
aged aluminum roof coatings, concrete, campers/RV’s, and more.
NOTE: This product is not recommended for gravel, dead level (at),
or shingled roof surfaces.
COVERAGE - One 5-gallon pail will coat approximately 250-500
square feet of roof surface.
DIRECTIONS:
Clean Roof - Sweep off all dirt, dust, and debris. Remove rust,
mildew, oil, grease, or other foreign material on the surface. Allow
freshly applied asphalt roofs to cure a minimum of 4 weeks prior
to applying this coating. Scrub roof with solution of TSP (Trisodium
Phosphate) and water. Remove mold and mildew with bleach
solution (1 part chlorine bleach and 3 parts water). Rinse thoroughly
and allow to dry.
Applying Roof Coating - Stir pail thoroughly. Do not dilute. For best
results apply White Elastomeric Roof Coating with a soft brush, 3/4”
nap paint roller, or high pressure sprayer. For optimum performance
and durability, apply a second coat.
CLEAN UP - Wash tools with water before material dries.
CHEMICAL COMPOSITION - Water CAS #7732-18-5, 100% acrylic
emulsion polymer (proprietary), Limestone CAS #16389-88-1,
Titanium Dioxide CAS #13463-67-7, Ester Alcohol CAS #25265-77-4.
This product contains less than 100 grams per liter of volatile organic
compounds (VOC).
FIRST AID - IN EYE: Immediately ush with large amounts of
water for at least 15 minutes. Immediately seek medical attention.
ON SKIN: Wash thoroughly with soap and water or hand cleaner
(if material has dried). If irritation or rash develops, seek medical
attention. IF INHALED: Remove person from exposure. If breathing
has stopped or is difcult, administer articial respiration or oxygen
as needed. Seek medical aid. IF INGESTED: Do not induce
vomiting. Seek medical aid immediately.
RESTRICTIONS - PROTECT CONTAINER FROM FREEZING.
ATTENTION - Empty containers may retain material residues.
Dispose of empty container in accordance with local, state, and
federal regulations based upon chemical composition of contents.
CAUTION - Avoid breathing vapors and contact with eyes and
skin. Do not take internally. Clean hands thoroughly after using. If
material gets in eyes or mouth call a physician immediately. Use with
adequate ventilation. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
WARNING - Children can fall into pail and drown. Keep children
away from pail with even a small amount of liquid.
WARRANTY - The statements made on this label are believed to be true
and accurate, and are intended to provide a guide for approved construction
practices. The manufacturer does not make, nor does it authorize any agent or
representative to make any warranty, express or implied, concerning this material
as workmanship, weather, tools utilized and other variables affecting results are
beyond our control. The manufacturer warrants that this product shall be free from
material defects for a period of 10 years from date of purchase, when applied
in accordance with instructions on this label over a sound, properly prepared,
non-at compatible roof surface, with a minimum of TWO COATS applied, and
patch work performed with Roof Patch and Fabric. Should the original purchaser
of this product discover that this product has not performed as advertised herein,
the purchaser shall promptly notify the manufacturer in writing of that event,
provide details of the nature of the failure and provide proof of product purchase.
If the manufacturer’s products are found to be defective, the manufacturer will
provide option: 1) replacement product to sufciently correct the failure or 2) a
prorated refund of the original purchase price of the product. This constitutes the
purchaser’s sole remedy. In no event shall the manufacturer be liable for any
injury, loss or damage, either direct or incidental in connection with use of this
material.
