INTRODUCTION The purpose of this addendum is to outline the differences in operation and features of the SEAL® Image® 6500 XT laminator in addition to the SEAL Image 6500 laminator model. IMPORTANT! All information regarding WARNINGS and Safety Information contained in the SEAL Image 6500 Owner’s Manual is valid for the operation of the SEAL Image 6500 XT laminator.

The standard setting for the normal operation is 35-55 PSI. 2. Air Regulator Knob: Adjusts the downward pressure of the top pull roller. Turn clockwise to increase the pressure. 9. Top Rear Roller Temperature Readout: Displays both the set and actual temperature of the top rear roller. 10.
FEEDING IMAGES USING THE IMAGE GUIDE ON THE FLAT TABLE • To aid with feeding in images, the rear table is provided with an “Image Guide”. • This device can be positioned in front of the roller and it prevents the images from interrupting the photoelectric eyes. • To position the Image Guide, push it completely in towards the roller aligning the outer notches with the thumbscrews in the table. • Tighten the thumbscrews down to secure the image guide in place. You are ready to feed images.
O N E PA S S D R Y T R A N S F E R A N D O V E R L A M I N AT E The One-Pass Dry Transfer process involves transferring an image onto a flexible Marking film and applying an over laminate to the image transfer. Applying the over laminate to the top of the image transfer increases the longevity of your image transfer and allows for outdoor applications. Some types of Transfer Media do not require an over-laminate; please refer to the product literature for recommendations.

6500 XT BEDIENFELD HINTEN 1. Druckluftanzeige: Hier wird der Abwärtsdruck der oberen Zugwalze angezeigt. Die Standardeinstellung für den normalen Betrieb beträgt 35-55 PSI. 2. Drehknopf Druckeinstellung: Mit diesem Knopf kann der Abwärtsdruck der oberen Zugwalze eingestellt werden. Drehen Sie den Knopf im Uhrzeigersinn, um den Druck zu erhöhen. 3. Schalter Walze Heben/Senken (hinten, oben): Schalten Sie den Schalter nach oben, um die Walze anzuheben.
BILDER EINFUHREN BILDFÜHRUNGSVORRICHTUNG DES FLACHTISCHES • Als Einführungshilfe verfügt der hintere Tisch über eine Bildführungsvorrichtung. • Diese Vorrichtung kann vor der Walze angeordnet werden und verhindert, dass Bilder die Lichtschranke unterbrechen. • Bei der Verwendung von Trägerplatten kann die Bildführungsvorrichtung entfernt werden. TROCKENTRANSFER UND SCHUTZLAMINIEREN IN EINEM ARBEITSGANG Bei dem Trockentransferverfahren in einem Arbeitsgang wird das Bild auf eine flexible Markierungsfolie übertragen und mit einem Schutzlaminat versehen. Durch das Schutzlaminat wird die Lebensdauer des übertragenen Bildes erhöht und kann dieses im Außenbereich verwendet werden. Für manche Transfermedien ist kein Schutzlaminat erforderlich. Empfehlungen entnehmen Sie bitte den Produktinformationen.

A L I M E N TAT I O N D E S I M A G E S UTILISATION DU GUIDE D'IMAGE SUR LE PLATEAU • Le plateau arrière est équipé d’un “guide d’image” pour faciliter l’alimentation des images. • Ce dispositif peut se positionner devant le rouleau et empêche les images d’interrompre les cellules photoélectriques. • Le guide d’image peut se démonter pour le montage de feuilles de carton.
T R A N S F E R T A S E C E T P E L L I C U L A G E M O N O PA S S E Le processus de transfert à sec monopasse consiste à transférer une image sur un film de marquage souple et à appliquer une pellicule sur l’image transférée. L’application d’une pellicule sur l’image transférée accroît la longévité de cette image et permet un usage extérieur. Certains types de support de transfert ne nécessitent pas de pelliculage; veuillez consulter les recommandations dans la documentation du produit.

INSERIMENTO IMMAGINI USO DELLA GUIDA IMAGINE SUL PIANO DI LAVORO • Per agevolare l’inserimento delle immagini, il piano di lavoro posteriore è provvisto di apposita “guida immagine”. • Il dispositivo può essere posizionato davanti al rullo per evitare che le immagini interrompano le cellule fotoelettriche. • Per posizionare la guida immagine, spingerla completamente verso il rullo, allineando le tacche esterne alle viti ad alette del piano di lavoro.

A S E C C O E S O V R A P L A S T I F I C A Z I O N E I N M O N O P A S S A T A Il processo di trasferimento a secco in monopassata comporta il trasferimento dell’immagine su una pellicola autoadesiva flessibile e l’applicazione di una sovraplastificazione al trasferimento immagine. L’applicazione di sovraplastificazione al trasferimento immagine ne aumenta la longevità e consente applicazioni esterne. Alcuni tipi di supporto di trasferimento non richiedono sovraplastificazione.
