When both SAT LED and the GPS LED are lighted steady green, you are ready to make or
receive the first voice call.
To make a call from the Handset, dial
+<country code><phone number> followed by the
key.
Note:
For international calls and SMS, press and hold the
key until ‘+’ is displayed, then
enter <country code> and <phone number> without using the leading “00”.
To end the call, press on the Handset.
To accept an incoming call, press
on the Handset.
Sending the first SMS (Message)
Follow these steps to send the first SMS:
1. Press or to select Menu.
Making the first voice call
Note:
To make a call, the SEAGULL 5000
i system must be connected to the satellite network
with an adequate signal strength of at least 4 bars at Setup page of the Web
Console or on the Handset
signal strength sub-menu.
