Recommended tape cartridges
The table below summarizes the types of tape
cartridges that can be used with Seagate Travan
40GB drives. All other tape formats are incom-
patible.
Note. The capacities shown below are based on
2:1 data compression. Uncompressed
values are one half as high. Capacities,
backup speeds and transfer rates will vary
with file type and system configuration.

*Note: The Seagate Travan 40 drive can read
