Configuring SQL Server 2000
Create the Database
1. Click the Windows Start button, then select Programs > Microsoft SQL
Server > Enterprise Manager. This launches the SQL Server Enterprise
Manager.
2. In the left pane, expand the entries and select the name of your SQL server.
3. Select the Tools > Wizards… menu option. In the Select Wizards window:
• Expand the Database entry.
• Select the Create Database Wizard.
•Click [OK].
4. The Create Database Wizard will begin. Click [Next >].
5. In the Name the Database and Specify its Location window:
•In the Database Name field, type ACCESSCONTROL (this is case-
insensitive).
• Accept the default file locations, or change them as you wish.
• Click [Next >].
6. In the Name the Database Files window:
•Set the Initial Size (MB) to 50.
