Make sure that SCSI termination is set correctly for

each SCSI device. Termination should be enabled for

SCSI devices at each end of the SCSI chain. All other

SCSI devices must have termination disabled.

pin (wide) SCSI devices, consult your SCSI host

adapter manual for proper termination set-

Make sure you are using the latest drivers for your

SCSI host adapter and operating system. Contact the

manufacturer of your SCSI host adapter for driver

information.

Tape operations troubleshooting

If, after a period of successful operation, the tape drive

appears to fail during a backup or restore.

Check to make sure all cables are securely connected

and jumpers are set appropriately.
