“Good” the hard drive is good.
“Failed” the hard drive is failed.
“Error Alert” S.M.A.R.T. error alert.
“Read Errors” the hard drive has unrecoverable read
errors.
Usage The usage of hard drive:
“RAID disk” This hard drive has been set to
a RAID group.
“Free disk” This hard drive is free for use.
“Dedicated spare” This hard drive has been set
as dedicated spare of a RG.
“Global spare” This hard drive has been set as
global spare of all RGs.
Vendor Hard drive vendor.
Serial Hard drive serial number.
Type Hard drive type.
“SATA” SATA disk.
“SATA2” SATA II disk.
“SAS” SAS disk.
Write cache Hard drive write cache is enabled or disabled.
Standby HDD auto spindown function to save power. The default
value is disabled.
Readahead Readahead function of HDD. Default value is enabled

Queuing
Command Queue function of HDD. Default value is
enabled.
PD operations description:
Set Free disk Make the selected hard drive to be free for use.
Set Global spare Set the selected hard drive to global spare of all RGs.
Set Dedicated
spares
Set hard drive to dedicated spare of selected RGs.
Disk Scrub Scrub the hard drive.
Turn on/off the
indication LED
Turn on the indication LED of the hard drive. Click again
to turn off.
