During a controller start or redundancy switchover, Multipoint Input values may mo-
mentarily be read at the value of zero or the low cutoff value, generating process or
hardware low value alarms. This condition will only exist for several seconds and
the Hold Forward flag will be set t o on. This HF flag can be used to detect t he sys-
tem error vs. the actual alarm condition.
