FUEL ACCELERATOR PUMP
General
The carburetors are equipped with a fuel acceler-
ator pump.
The fuel accelerator pump is mounted on the
magneto side carburetor. It is linked to the throttle
valve via a linkage.
A metering jet in the fuel inlet hose controls fuel
supply to the pump.
A check valve on the fuel outlet hose prevents air
from entering in the system.
Inspection
Disconnect inlet and outlet hoses from accelera-
tor pump nipples.
