Secure the mounting plate to the electrical box with two mounting plate screws.
Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance to local electrical codes.
Connect the white fixture wire to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut.
Connect the black fixture wire to the hot power line wire with a wire nut.
Mount the fixture base onto the mounting plate and secure by installing the set screws using an Allen wrench.
If applicable, install the diffuser by pushing it into the fixture until it snaps in place.
For wet locations, caulk around the base of the fixture with waterproof construction sealant.
