6. If pairing is successful, “BT” will appear at the bottom of the display, the Bluetooth icon
will appear solid and 2 beeps will sound, indicating the iWBT400 is ready to play
music. There should also be an indication on your device. If no device is successfully
paired within 2 minutes the iWBT400 will default to previous mode. Once the iWBT400
is paired to a device, it will attempt to autolink when the device is within range (about
33 feet). To clear paired Bluetooth devices from the unit, press and hold the
Play/Pause/Pairing Button for 10 seconds.

Whenever AC power is connected, the iWBT400 will attempt to autolink to a previously
paired device. If no device is paired, the iWBT400 will automatically enter pairing mode for
2 minutes. For manual pairing, follow steps below.
1. Make sure your Bluetooth device (audio source) is turned on with
Bluetooth mode enabled (check in the device’s Settings).
2. Press the Power/Alarm Reset Button to turn on the unit.
3. Press the Mode Button to cycle to Bluetooth mode, indicated by “BT”
on the display.
4. Press and hold the Play/Pause/Pairing Button for 2 seconds. The
iWBT400 will beep and “PAIR” and the Bluetooth icon will flash on
the display, indicating the iWBT400 is in pairing mode.
5. “iHome iWBT400” should appear in your device’s Bluetooth menu.
Select “iHome iWBT400” to connect it. If prompted for a passcode,
enter “1234” on your device’s keypad.
