CHARGE UNIT BEFORE USE
1. Connect the micro USB plug to the micro USB charging port on the bottom of the unit.
2. Connect the standard USB plug end of the cable to a power USB port on a computer or other USB
charging device. For first time use, charge unit for about 8 hours.

While charging, the Battery Charge Indicator light on the front of the unit will glow solid red. Once
fully charged the light will glow solid green.
NOTE: To save battery life, after 15 minutes without detecting any audio, the unit will power off
automatically.
NOTE: The Status Indicator Lights on the top front of the unit are activated when the unit is
ON or when connected to a charging source via the USB cable.
TIP: On some iOS devices, you can view
the battery status of the iBT12 right on your
device’s screen. Look for a vertical battery
icon next to the Bluetooth
icon (when device is paired
and connected).
