Playing Music
You can select music by drilling down through a selected source in the Sonos music menu, or by searching for music across
all sources.
Searching
You can search across all of your music sources at once to find and enjoy the music you love. For example, if you have
Pandora, Spotify, and Songza music services, as well as tracks on your mobile device, a search for the artist Beck returns
relevant matches for all three music services plus any tracks that reside on your mobile device.
Keep the following in mind when searching:
• If you were within a music source before performing a search, the results for that music source appear at the top of the
list. For example, if you browse Spotify, and then perform a search, the Spotify results appear at the top of the list.
• When you search for a track that is on your device and in your local music library, it appears twice in the search results.
• If you have multiple service accounts associated with your Sonos system, the Search results are for the default music
service account for this controller only.
• To search a different account, change the default music service account for the controller. See "Changing the default
music service account" on page 2-7 for more information.
• You can search by entering text, or by using the voice recognition feature on your Android device.
Note: The Sonos Controller for Android includes options for searching. The Search hard key
on the Android tablet is not implemented.
