The Douthitt DMZ Direct Method Screen Exposure
System is the ideal large format screen exposure sys-
tem. It’s great advantage is that it reduces floor space,
is a self-contained light source and provides an easy
loading height when using large screens. This eases
back pain and stress for the screen room operators. It
has an automated start and cancel feature and Douthitt
boasts that the DMZ give you guaranteed light expo-
sure because of the pre-set light exposure setting and
distance to glass.
Features Include;
• 5000 Watt Metal Halide printing lamp assembly.
• Glass down design. Simply load, close, expose.
• No limit to the height of screen because of Douthitt’s
“Deep Draw” Black Gum rubber Blanket.
• Heavy Duty Model Magic 83, 10 channel memory
combination light integrator and digital timer.
• Completely automatic operation. Vacuum delay and
light exposure activated by closing the frame.
• Cooling fans to insure against excessive heat build-
up.
• Large and convenient access door on left side of unit.

The Douthitt DMV Direct Method Screen Exposure
System is ideal for Extremely Large Format screen
exposure system. This is an easy Ergonomic Loading
system for large and/or heavy screen frames. Frames
are loaded vertically on a heavy duty steel support bar.
A motorized blanket frame moves toward the glass
frame and air locks to seal the frame. Douthitt’s Model
52 Air Pump provides perfect contact of frame to glass.
Features Include;
• Special Douthitt “Deep Draw” Black Gum Rubber
Blanket. Under this blanket swiftly molds itself to the
shape of the screen frame and holds your positive in
perfect contact.
• Douthitt Heavy Duty Model 52 Silent Air Pump.*
• Compressed Air Powered Frame Locks to seal glass
and blanket frames.
• Motorized opening and closing of vacuum blanket
frame.
• Optic clear A-1 select glass.
