RETROFIT “ADD-ON” UV CURING SYSTEM
Now one unit can do conventional as well as UV curing.
Adding ultraviolet curing to your existing gas, electric or
infrared dryer is easy with American Ultraviolet’s irradiators,
lamps and power supplies. Custom designed exhaust/vacu-
um systems install below the belt, and the curing system
installs on top.
The American Ultraviolet Curing Irradiator Retrofit Kit includes
a labeled, digital, encased power supply; a focused, air-
cooled lamp assembly; optical shielding; and an optional vac-
uum/exhaust hold-down with blower-everything you need to
convert an existing dryer to air-cooled UV.
The Retrofit UV Curing Systems features include;
• Extruded aluminum, elliptically focused reflector
• Replaceable polished aluminum reflector liners
• Completely wired power supply with lamp intensity controls
• Tri-power (125/200/300 wpi)
• 8’-high voltage key-locked irradiator to power supply con-
nector
• Custom air seals to prevent lamp over cooling
• Optical shielding

AMERICAN ULTRAVIOLET MINI UV DRYER
American Ultraviolet manufactures a full line of UV
Dryers and offers this mini-UV dryer to the market as a
perfect lab UV dryer or small part production UV dryer.
This Mini Conveyorized UV Curing System provides
production capabilities and intense ultraviolet energy for
curing ultraviolet paints, inks, and coatings.
The irradiation system incorporates an elliptical focused
heat-sink reflector; six-inch, 300Watt/inch curing lamp;
vacuum hold-down and centrally located exhaust cool-
ing fan. To replace lamp, simply lift top cover of irradia-
tor; the side extrusions and shielding remain stationary.
The conveyor system is constructed of enameled alu-
minum with six-inch-wide, UV resistant coated fiber-
glass belt. A solid-state variable-speed control enables
operator to accurately adjust to cure slower UV adhe-
sives, as well as fast-drying UV inks and coatings.
