ASSEMBLY UNPACKING This product requires some assembly. • Screw the front handle firmly into place with the ST 4.2 X 18 screw included. OPERATING CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS CAUTION: Lines coasts after turn off. Do not use under wet conditions. CAUTION: Inspect area to be trimmed and remove any wire, cord, or string-like objects which could become entangled in the rotating line or spool. OPERATING REWINDING SPOOL FROM BULK LINE (USE ONLY .065” DIAMETER LINE) Bulk line for your trimmer/edger is available at extra cost from your local dealer. To install bulk line, follow these steps: REPLACING SPOOL / CLEARING JAMS AND TANGLED LINES From time to time, especially when cutting thick or stocky weeds, the line feeding hub may become clogged with sap or other material and the line will become jammed as a result. To clear the jam, follow these steps.

CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK Charge the battery pack only with the charger provided. Allow at least 60 minutes of charge time before initial use of the string trimmer. Make sure the power supply is normal household voltage, 120volts, 60Hz, AC only. The battery charger should be operated in temperatures between 39 and 104 degrees F. The battery should be charged in a cool, dry place. Two to three initial charging/discharging cycles may be required to achieve maximum run time/capacity.

UTILISATION INSTRUCTIONS DE COUPE MISE EN GARDE : Les fils tournent encore après la mise hors tension. N’utilisez pas l’outil dans des conditions mouillées. MISE EN GARDE : Inspectez la zone à couper et enlevez tout fil de fer, câble ou objet filaire pouvant s'emmêler dans le fil ou le dévidoir en rotation. Faites particulièrement attention d’éviter tout fil de fer pouvant être tordu vers l’extérieur dans la trajectoire de l’outil, comme le fil barbelé à la base d’une clôture à mailles en losange.
