SYMPTOM CAUSE SOLUTION
The unit will not
switch on
The +12V car ignition is not on.
Turn the ignition key to the “Accessory.” position in order to power
the radio.
The fuse of the vehicle powering the unit has blown. Replace the vehicle fuse with a new one with the same capacity.
The ISO harness is not properly connected.
Remove the unit from the dashboard and check the electrical
connections.
The power cable fuse has blown. Replace the fuse with a new one with the same capacity.
Disc cannot be
loaded or ejected.
There is already a disc in the player. Remove the disc in the player, and then insert a new one.
The disc has been Inserted upside down. Insert the compact disc with the label facing upward.
Compact disc is extremely dirty or defective. Clean the disc or try to play a new one.
Condensation is present in the player. Leave the player off for an hour or so, and then try again.
No sound.
The volume level is turned all the way down or the
mute function has been switched on.
Adjust the volume to a desired level or switch off the mute mode.
The wiring is not properly connected. Check the connections.
Sound skips.
The disc is extremely dirty or a defective disc. Clean the compact disc and then try to play a new one.
The unit is installed at an angle of greater than 30°. Fix the installation so that the unit is less than 30° from horizontal.
The front panel
buttons do not
operate properly.
The built-in micro-processor is not operating properly
due to electrical noise.
Press the RESET button.
Front panel is not properly xed into its place.
The radio does not
work.
The antenna cable is not connected. Check the antenna connector is properly connected.
The signals are too weak. Select a station manually.
