SECTION 4: FIRST AID MEASURES
Eye Contact: Rinse immediately with water for at least 15 minutes, lifting lower and upper eyelids. If
irritation persists, seek medical attention immediately.
Skin: Rinse thoroughly with soap and warm water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention
immediately.
Ingeston: Do not induce vomiting as aspiration pneumonitis may result. Rinse mouth and drink a
glass of water. Get medical attention immediately.
Inhalation: Move to fresh air.
Note to physician: Treat symptomatically.
SECTION 5: FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Water Spray, foam, Carbon Dioxide, Dry Chemical
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: Firefighters should wear full protective clothing including self-
contained breathing apparatus, avoid breathing fumes. Cool containers in water fog.
UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: Containers may burst at temperatures above 130
o
F. Aerosol
product – Containers may rocket or explode in heat or fire.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Combustion will release Carbon Monoxide and /or Carbon
Dioxide, and other unidentified organic compounds.
SECTION 6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Eliminate sources of ignition, avoid breathing vapors, minimize skin contact. In the event of spillage: Use
appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination. Recover liquid with absorbent material. Ventilate
spill area. Place in suitable clean, dry containers for disposal by approved methods.
Method for cleaning area: Wash area with soap and water.
Waste Disposal: Follow local, state and federal regulations.
