SYMPTON POSSIBLE CAUSE SUGGEST CORRECTION
Unit will not run Blown fuse in P.C. Board Replace fuse & check for cause of
(No warning LEDS glows) blown fuse
Main switch in OFF position Turn switch to ON position
Inoperative P.C. Board Replace P.C. Board
Loose electrical connections Check wiring
(Green LED-Power ON glows) P.C. Board selector in STAND BY Move to OPERATING position
(Bin full LED glows) Inoperative ice level control replace ice level control
(Red-alarm LED glows) High head pressure Dirty condenser. Clean
Inoperative fan motor. Replace
(Red-alarm LED blinks) Too high evaporating temperature Check for shortage of refrigerant or
for leaking of hot gas valve
Compressor cycles intermittently Low voltage Check circuit for overloading
Check voltage at the supply to the
building. If low, contact the power
company
Contactor with burnt contacts Clean or replace
Non-condensable gas in system Purge the system
Compressor starting device with Check for loose wires in starting
