o Drape a protective cloth over the front fender.
Extract (3) T-27
Torx bolts from
bottom edge of
windshield.
Carefully lift
away windshield,
store in a safe
location and replace
the middle Torx
bolt for support
during the remaining
removal steps.

T-27 Torx bolts
from outer side
of the fairing
(under mirrors).

Extract (2)
T-27 Torx
bolts from
inside the
fork tubes
(facing
forward).
Extract
remaining T-25
Torx screws
holding speaker
in place.

Unplug wire
leads and
carefully remove
speaker.

While supporting the outer fairing,
remove the middle windshield bolt, lift
away and unplug headlight to remove
fairing shell. Store fairing in a safe
place until re-assembly.
Unbolt and remove inner fairing support
brackets from each side (3/16" hex &
T-25 Torx screws) Note that the Torx
screw is also a shared speaker screw.
