INITIAL
SETUP
INSTALLATION NOTE!
To
ensure
proper
operation
of
the
Touch-screen
climate
control,
you
must
first
set
the
unit
to
match
the
vehicle
model
and
HVAC
climate
control
system/
1.
Press and
Hold the
SET
button (see page
5,
Fig.
3,
#8)
for 1
0
seconds
to
access the Car
Selection
Screen
(Figure 1 below).
2. From the Vehicle Setup Screen choose your vehicle: Taurus (Fig.
1,
#2)
3.
Touch the White colored Model
listing and the text
will
turn Red indicating your selection.

Next, from the Option Group selection screen, choose the feature group that accurately matches the
original options for your particular vehicle (Fig. 2,
#2
below).
NOTE:
Options vary
by
vehicle trim
level and equipment. For example,
"Manual"
or
"Dual Zone"
climate
control; heated seats, air-conditioned seats, etc. If
you are unsure
of
the options on your vehicle consult
your dealer invoice
or
vehicle's original owner's manual.
5. Touch the White colored Options Group and the text
will
turn Red indicating your selection
6. Exit the
Setup
screen by pressing the back arrow
in
the
top
left corner (Fig. 1
&
2,
#1).
