Installation Instructions

Radio Removal:

1. Remove the knobs from the radio.

2. Remove four screws from the top leading edge of the instrument cluster trim

panel. Carefully pry the top edge loose.

3. Carefully pry out the trim strip below the dash pocket, right and left of the

ashtray strip.

4. Depress the spring clip behind light switch knob and remove knob.

Carefully pry out the trim strip from this location.

5. Remove the remaining four screws from the bottom edge of the instrument

cluster trim panel

and remove the panel.

NOTE: If the truck is not equipped with a radio unscrew the dummy plate covering the radio

openings in the trim panel.

6. Remove four screws securing the radio assembly to the dash. Pull the radio out. Disconnect the

power, antenna, and all speaker and electrical connections.

SECURE THE BRACKETS TO THE BOSSES LOCATED ON THE BACK

SIDE OF THE KIT WITH THE SUPPLIED HARDWARE. SEE PAGE 3.

Asegurar los braquetes en sus ranuras en la parte posterior del juego

Desmontaje del Radio:

1. Quitarle las perillas al radio.

2. Extraer los cuatro tornillos de la parte superior de la moldura del conjunto de instrumentos.

Palanquear cuidadosamente el borde superior para aflojarlo.

3. Palanquear cuidadosamente el listón bajo la abertura del tablero, a la derecha e izquierda

del cenicero.

4. Presionar el sujetador de muelle detrás de la perilla del control de la luz y sacar la perilla.

Palanquear cuidadosamente el listón de moldura en este lugar para sacarlo.

5. Extraer los cuatro tornillos restantes de la moldura inferior del panel de instrumentos y

sacar la moldura.

NOTA:

Si el vehículo no está equipado con radio, sacar los tornillos de la placa que cubre

la cavidad para el radio en el panel.

6. Extraer los cuatro tornillos que fijan el radio al tablero. Retirar el radio de la cavidad.

Desenchufar la antena y todas las conexiones eléctricas y de los parlantes

NOTE: INSTALLATION OF A DIN UNIT MAY REQUIRE DASH MODIFICATIONS.

NOTA: La instalación de una unidad DIN puede requerir modificar el tablero

del vehículo.

1975-91 Ford E150/E250/E350 Van

Radio Removal:

1. Remove the knobs and the shaft nuts from the radio.

2. Remove six screws from the dash panel.

3. Remove the panel and disconnect the cigarette lighter.

4. Remove four screws securing the radio mounting bracket to

the dash. Release the rear support and remove the assembly.

5. Disconnect the power, antenna, and all speaker and electrical connections.

Desmontaje del Radio:

1. Quitarle las perillas y las tuercas de los ejes al radio.

2. Extraer los seis tornillos de la moldura del tablero.

3. Sacar la moldura y desconectar el encendedor de cigarrillos.

4. Extraer los cuatro tornillos que fijan el braquete del radio al tablero. Soltar el soporte

posterior y retirar el ensamblaje.

5. Desenchufar la antena y todas las conexiones eléctricas y de los parlantes.

USE THE SHADED MOUNTING TABS AND THE INDICATED BRACKETS. CUT OFF THE REMAINING TABS AND DISCARD.

FOR DIN ISO AND SHAFT RADIO INSTALLATION, SEE PAGES 3 & 4.

Usar las pestañas sombreadas y los braquetes indicados. Cortar las pestañas restantes y descartarlas.
