Modification Required: Please read complete instructions before
proceeding. Location modification required for this installation, proceed with caution.
If you are unsure or feel that the installation is to difficult, we recommend you seek
professional installation. Note that additional installation fees may apply and vary by
location. Scosche is not responsible or liable for any additional fees or modification done
by the installer.
Caution! Before beginning the disassembly make sure of the following:
• Negative battery terminal is disconnected.
• Parking brake is ON.
• Gear shifter is set to a lower gear.
Accessing 12v Power VEHICLE DISASSEMBLY
CAUTION! Make sure parking brake is ON before performing these steps.
For models with hand gear shifter
1. Open the center console's arm rest.
2. Use a panel removal tool to unclip the shifter boot.
3. Uni pug shifter boot's connection and remove the (1) T-20 torx screw, then
lift and remove.
4. Set the shifter to a lower gear then lift and remove the shifter head.
5. Use a panel removal tool to lift and remove the shifter panel from location,
and disconnect all connections.
6. Set the panel aside for preparation.
For models with rotary gear shifter
1. Open the center console's arm rest.
2. Use a panel removal tool to lift and remove the shifter panel from location,
and disconnect all connections.
3. Set the panel aside for preparation.
