12V
SOCKET REMOVAL
INSTALLATION
NOTE:
These instructions are
provided
as
a
general
guide
and
may
differ
from
your
particular vehicle.

removing
the
12V
lighter/
power
socket
in
your
vehicle,

Snap-in Type:
1. Use a panel removal
tool
(PRn
to
unsnap
socket
assembly (Figure 1 ).
2. Carefully slide
out,
unplug
power
connector
and
remove (Figure 2).
Thread-in Type:
1. Gain access
the
rear
of
the
12V
socket
assembly
in
the
vehicle
(not
shown).
2.
Unplug
electrical connections
(not
shown).
3. Un-screw
the
locking collar
(counter
clockwise),
carefully slide
socket
out,
and
remove (Figure 3).

CUSTOM INSTALL
1. Choose an area
of
the
dash
that
is free
of
obstructions
behind
the
panel
and
allows
the
cables
to
reach
the
rear
inputs
of
the
stereo.
2. Use a
hole
saw
or
step
drill
bit
to
drill
a
1"
(26mm)
hole
for
the
12V
POWER
plug
(Figure 4).
