2.4.5. Performing Serviceability Check
After installing, initializing, or configuring the IRD, maintenance checks must be
performed to ensure that the unit is serviceable. A video monitor must be
connected to the IRD in order to perform the check. Table 2-7 lists systematic
instructions for performing a serviceability check.

STEP CHECK
1 On the LCD display the LCD status message reads STATUS OK
2 On the IRD front panel the two LEDs are green
3 Service selected is displayed on the LCD display
4 Video picture on monitor
5 Audio channels left and right
