1.5.2. Model Options
Each IRD model supports the following interfaces:
• DVB-S (QPSK)
• MPEG over IP (MPEGoIP)
• ASI
In this manual all rear panels are shown with the DVB-S interface. Each model
has basic-standard features and interfaces as well as features requiring software
license to be activated.
The MPEGoIP input interface can be supported in all IRD-2900 devices. Figure
1-3 describes the IRD-2961 rear panel with a MPEGoIP input interface.

NOTE
IRD-2900 models supporting MPEGoIP output and IP data out (MPE de-capsulation) output can be configured
to support either MPEGoIP or IP data out. .
