The IRD-2900 can be controlled from a standard PC through a serial RS-232 or
RS-485 cable. Table 3-1 and Table 3-2 detail the pin-to-pin and signal
assignments of the RS-232 and RS-485 cables, respectively.

There are many Terminal Applications that support Serial-COM.
The software download procedure in this document is performed on the built-in
MS Windows hyperterminal.
