3.3.7. Conditional Access Configuration Menu
The Conditional Access Configuration Menu allows setting the configuration
options for the Conditional Access function.
The Conditional Access Configuration Menu is entered from the IRD
Configuration Main Menu (see Paragraph 3.3) and is displayed in the following
menu format:
Conditional Access 1-2-7
1 Common Interface
2 BISS
3 Embedded
The Conditional Access Menu parameters are categorized as follows:
• Common Interface (CI)
Enable setting up the configuration of the CAMS in the IRD using the DVB-
CI standard. For details see Paragraph 3.3.7.1.
• BISS Mode
Enable setting up the BISS encryption mode. For details see Paragraph 3.3.7.2.
• Embedded Mode
Enable setting up the embedded encryption mode. For details see
Paragraph 3.3.7.3.
