Elmdene Magnetic Contacts
The range of Contacts below are suitable for use at the grade specified with respect to PD6662:2004, this will change with the introduction of
TS50131-2-6 (planned for 1st April 2007). At that time contacts previously deemed Grade 3 with respect to PD6662:2004 will become Grade 2.
Elmdene’s new EN3 range of contacts will then be available and these will be suitable for use in Grade 3 systems with respect to the new
standard TS50131-2-6 and feature magnetic immunity/detection in addition to integral resistors.
Spectrum Range
Elmdene contacts for use with Fully Supervised Control Panels incorporating end of line resistors utilise a simple colour coding, matching resistor
values to appropriate control panel - see table below: (Other resistor values are available by special order). * = Also available in Brown

A range of 6 wire potted contacts with integral resistors to suit the most popular control panels with Fully Supervised Loop wiring; PD6662:2004
compliant. All include 100cm of cable (50cm stainless steel protection on Roller Shutter contacts). These contacts can also be used in conventional
4 wire double pole systems.
6QFC-RD A Quick Fit style 20mm, FLUSH plastic contact potted and sealed. Magnet is the same size with 18mm operating gap.
6BP-RD Small FLUSH plastic body contact 8mm diameter, 34mm long with a 10mm diameter flange. Magnet is the same size with 10mm operating
