FLUSH/SURFACE CONTACTS
CQR Grade 3 compliant contacts up to April 2007. The current PD6662:2004 specifies that magnetic contacts must be graded. Currently there is
no requirement for Grade 1 contacts to be tampered. However, Grade 2 contacts should be tampered or sealed (potted) and Grade 3 contacts
must have factory fitted resistors unless EOL resistors or ID biscuits can be installed within the contact on installation. Magnetic detection or
immunity is also an option. However this requirement will change after April 2007 when this becomes mandatory - see next section for details.
CQR RESISTOR INFORMATION
The CQR magnetic contacts listed below are all suitable for use in systems designed to comply with PD6662:2004 EN50131 for environment
class 2 and security Grade 3. The contacts all have to be specified with different resistors values, for use with the various control panels. To assist
your ordering, please see our easy to use table to identify the relevant code for the control panel.

CQR Grade 3 complaint contacts after April 2007. The requirements for Grade 3 compliant contacts after April 2007 still require that all Grade 3
contacts must have EOL resistors factory fitted, unless EOL resistors or ID biscuits can be installed. They also require that, in addition, they must have
magnetic detection or immunity. This new CQR range of G3 contacts have been designed to meet either one of these requirements.
