Detailed operating instructions
5. DETAILED OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The following detailed operating instructions will make you familiar with the functions of the
SchillMarker software. In order to understand this, you should have ”played” with the introductory
example to start with.
5.1 Hardware requirements
You will require an IBM-compatible PC of the following recommended minimum configuration:
Processor: 80486
RAM: 8 MB
Available hard disk 10 MB
VGA graphics card 640 x 480 pixels, 16 colours
2 serial interfaces (important!) (one for the mouse and one for data communication
to the Impact Marker)
5.2 Software installation
Insert disk No. 1 and start SETUP.EXE programme.
5.3 Adjustment for the used serial interface
Turn off the FIFO-Buffer. (Windows-Manual)
5.4 Starting the SchillMarker software
The actual programme is accessed by starting the SCHILING.EXE file. The following files are required
for correct execution of the programme:
CTL3DV2.DLL
BWCC.DLL
BWCC007.DLL
These will be copied during installation to your Windows system directory.
