Safety Instructions
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read the instruction for installing the equipment.
2. The equipment must be power connected with a three-wire grounding type power cable
terminated with a plug having a third (grounding) pin. This plug will fit only into a grounding-type
power outlet.
3. In addition, the device is equipped with grounding marked bolts that mast be connected to earth
as near as possible.
4. Do not allow anything to rest on the power cord. Locate the device and the power and ground
connections in such a way that persons will not walk on the wires.
5. Do not attempt to service the device yourself. Opening or removing the covers may expose you
to dangerous voltage points or other risks. Refer to service personnel.
6. Unplug the equipment from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified personnel under the
following condition:
• when the power cord or plug is damaged or frayed;
• if liquid has been spilled into the device;
• if the equipment has been exposed to rain or water;
• if the equipment does not operate normally when the operating instructions are followed.
Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions, since improper
adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a
qualified technician to restore this product to normal operation;
• if the equipment has been dropped or damaged;
• if the equipment exhibits a distinct change in performance, indicating a need for service.
