Unpacking and installation
2.4 Positioning
The equipment has been tested and checked in the factory; no other setting before the
installation is required.
Unpack the appliance and find an installation place according to the following directions:
1. The Control Unit must be placed in vertical position leaving a free space of about 10 cm. to
guarantee a correct ventilation.
2. Do not place the Control Unit near any sink etc. in order to avoid any contact with water
and consequently the short-circuit on the electrical circuits.
3. Do not install the Control Unit in places with an insufficient ventilation.
4. Do not place the Control Unit near any heat source.
5. Do not install the Control unit on vibrating plate. If necessary use proper isolators.
6. Install the equipment so that the power supply cable will not be bent but can run freely to
the a.c. outlet.
7. Fix the Marking Unit on a suitable support by means of two mounting holes. This Unit may
be oriented to any direction.
8. Pneumatic Group (pressure regulator, pressure gauge, air filter) must be mounted near the
Marking Unit (max 2 m away).
9. Be sure that the Control Unit is not mounted on parts subject to vibrations. In this case the
use of vibration-damping devices is suggested.
