GENERAL INFORMATION
AND MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS
All RUGER
®
MARK II Standard and Target Models are .22 caliber rimfire, 10-
shot, magazine fed, autoloading recoil (‘blowback’) operated pistols.
The RUGER
®
GOVERNMENT TARGET MODEL has a longer,
heavyweight barrel and is laser targeted at the factory, just like pistols delivered to
the U.S. Government for target shooting and training.
The RUGER
®
COMPETITION MODEL has a slab-sided, heavyweight barrel
with target grips and a scope base supplied with optical sight mounting rings.
The RUGER
®
22/45 has a grip frame assembly made of molded synthetic
polymer and a magazine latch button on the left side of the frame.
