9.4. Annex D – Certifications
As a service for our customers, SCM Microsystems already successfully has performed the EMI
pretests to ensure the SCM3712 readers are ready for best compliance against applicable
international radio certification rules like CE, FCC, VCCI or Japan Radio certification. As the reader is
intended to be integrated into a final device, the final device needs to be tested against the specific
rules as a complete device. Even if the reader board would come with a certification, it was invalid
once integrated into the final device.
