Installing the Driver Software on Windows XP

IMPORTANT NOTE: For the MultiMediaCard/Secure Digital and MemoryStick ZiO! card

readers, driver installation is not required for Windows XP. For the SmartMedia and

CompactFlash ZiO! card readers, driver installation is required for Windows XP and is detailed

below.

Connect your CompactFlash or SmartMedia ZiO!

to the USB port on your computer or USB hub.

Please refer to pages 27 and 28 for information

on connecting your Dazzle ZiO!

The "Found New Hardware Wizard" will be dis-

played. The "Found New Hardware Wizard" will

then ask "If your hardware came with an installa-

tion CD or floppy disk, insert it now."

Insert the Dazzle Installation CD into your CD-

ROM drive. By default, "Install the software

automatically (Recommended)" will be selected.

Inserting the Dazzle Installation CD will continue

the installation process. You do not have to

select "Next" as the installation will proceed

automatically.

Windows will automatically search for and install

the ZiO! driver software.
