Clean the block cavity and temperature probe frequently to avoid build up of residue that can interfere with the heat control system. The bottom of the cavity is sealed to provide temporary protection from spills and condensation. Clean the metal surfaces and heated lid using a mild, detergent-based cleaner and wipe with a soft cloth.
