Serial Port Settings
The following settings in Tab l e 4.1 configure the serial port.
The SEL-3022 Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitters (UARTs) have a one-
character receive buffer. If the SEL-3022 asserts Hardware (HW) flow control, one
additional character can be sent to the SEL-3022 without loss of data. If HW flow
control is asserted and characters are still being sent to the SEL-3022 (e.g., from the
serial port of a device connected to the SEL-3022) then characters will be lost.
