OVERVIEW
The Schreiber Medical Chillers are designed to supply constant chilled water to an Intera MRI
system or other scanning system that requires chilled water. These chillers are also designed for
Outdoor or Indoor installation. However, if indoor installation is desired, adequate ventilation is
required. If necessary, consult with Schreiber Engineering for more information.
Each chiller is self contained and includes 2 pumps, 2 independent refrigeration modules; air
cooled condenser and fans, and a chilled water reservoir. The modular construction allows for
quick and easy maintenance service.
Schreiber Engineering Medical Chillers utilize microprocessor controller via remote terminal
allowing monitoring the chiller operation at two (2) locations. The 4 x 20 LCD remote terminal
shows system status, alarms and diagnostics procedures.
If required, the chiller can be supplied in a Remote Condensing (RC) version. This is for
installations where the chiller is mounted indoors and a remote condenser is installed outdoors.
