If you are looking for a corner marker and detect two more signals in the same general area,
raise the locatorseveralinches above the ground or reduce the sensitivity setting.Any signal
thatdisappearswhenthelocatorisheldhigherorwhenthe
sensitivityisdecreasedisprobably
comingfromashallowtarget.AsshowninFigure9,thesignalfromarustyboltorothersmall
itemdecreasesmuchfasterwithdistancethanthesignalfromalargertarget,suchasa18inch
lengthof3/4rebarthatcanbelocated
