About the Xantrex XW System Control Panel

The Xantrex XW System Control Panel provides configuration and
monitoring capability for a Xantrex XW and Conext SW Power System.
The Xantrex XW SCP:
• Monitors activity throughout your power system
• Displays the settings and status of each Xantrex Xanbus-enabled
device
• Enables you to adjust settings for each Xantrex Xanbus-enabled
device.
System
component
The Xantrex XW SCP uses Xantrex Xanbus, a network communications
protocol developed by the manufacturer, to communicate its settings and
activity to other Xantrex Xanbus-enabled devices.
Xantrex Xanbus-enabled products are:
• Easy to use. The Xantrex Xanbus network simplifies operation and
automates routine tasks.
• Reliable. Software control eliminates errors due to analog signaling.
• Accurate. Digital information is less susceptible to interference and
line loss.
System
requirements
The Xantrex XW SCP requires a Xantrex Xanbus power supply to
operate. Network power is carried by the network cables, and can be
supplied by a Xantrex XW Hybrid Inverter/Charger or a Conext SW
Inverter/Charger.
As a device that draws network power, the Xantrex XW SCP consumes a
maximum of 3 watts.
Important: The Xantrex XW System Control Panel is compatible with
Xantrex XW System components, including Xantrex XW Hybrid Inverter/
Chargers, Xantrex XW-MPPT Charge Controllers, and the Xantrex XW
Automatic Generator Start.
The Xantrex XW System Control Panel is also compatible with the Conext
SW Inverter/Chargers.
