Inverter Zero Export
In certain jurisdictions (such as in Australia), local regulations and the utility
companies require that solar power conversion devices that are connected to the
utility grid do not export power back to the grid. The Conext ComBox is capable
of limiting power export to the grid when used with the Conext RL series and a
supported Power Meter (PM).
To configure the Conext ComBox for zero export:
1. The PM must be wired in a way so that the power import from the grid is
taken as positive and the power export to grid is taken as negative. See
Figure 3-2, “Wiring Illustration” on page 3–32.
2. The PM must be assigned to Grid under Association which can be done
from the ComBox Web User Interface. See Figure 3-3, “Power Meter
Configuration” on page 3–33.
3. The Inverter Zero Export must be Enabled from the Zero Inverter Output
parameter on the ComBox Web User Interface. See Figure 3-4, “Zero Export
Configuration” on page 3–33.
4. Reboot the ComBox.
