Hardware setup

Receipt

• Check that the card catalog number marked on the label is the same as that on the delivery note corresponding to the purchase order.

• Remove the option card from its packaging and check that it has not been damaged in transit.

• Check that the product is complete: the packaging should contain the "Controller Inside" option card and its 4 removable terminals.

Installing the card in the drive

Note: If a Controller Inside card and an I/O extension card are installed simultaneously:

• The I/O extension card must be installed on the drive first

• Then the Controller Inside card must be installed on the I/O extension card
