Procedure Follow the steps in the table below to set the register values for the time-of-day
clock:
Step Action
1 Set the correct date and time in registers 4
x + 1 through 4 x + 7.
Example: To set the clock for Thursday, April 9, 1998 at 4:17:00, set the following
values in the registers:
4 x + 1 5
4 x + 2 4
4 x + 3 9
4 x + 4 98
4 x + 5 4
4 x + 6 17
4 x + 7 00
2 Load the value 8000H in register 4
x to write the data to the clock.
