You will need the following additional tools: electrician’s knife; wire
stripper; small flatblade screwdriver; ohmmeter with a lowresistance
range (0 ... 200 W).
You will also need to know which type of network device (type of
Modicon 984 controller or other device) is to be installed at each point
on the cable. The connector wiring direction will depend on the type of
device installed.

Each connector requires seven kinds of action:
V Preparing the cable
V Placing the connector into the tool
V Determining the wiring direction
V Placing the wires into the connector
V Replacing the cap
V Seating the wires and installing the cap screw
V Completing the connection
