3. Sending commands to the control system

The display unit writes to the PLC dialog table.
NOTE: Pressing both function keys simultaneously triggers both
functions.
 Commands sent via functional links
Functional links are used to create additional control functions. To do
this, the operator uses the and keys located on each side
of the screen.
The application designer can therefore give the operator the option of
sending commands to equipment from the application page.
Commands may be one of two types:
-Impulse
- Toggle
 Functional command link
