Operating Principles of XBT Terminals

Introduction
Overview
Magelis XBT terminals provide the following 2 modes of operation:
z In Transfer mode dialog applications can be exchanged between the PC running
the Vijeo-Designer Lite software and the Magelis XBT terminal.
z In Operating mode data is exchanged between the XBT terminal and the
automation system (controlling the latter).
These 2 modes of operation will be described in the following sections.
