Verify the Names
Use these steps to activate output channels for a module. This is only an example,
so devices should not be connected to the output channels.
Make sure the variable names are properly assigned in the Unity Pro configuration:
5Press OK when the Advantys
Configuration Software asks you to put
the island in run mode.
The Advantys island is now configured
and in run mode.
6 Close the Advantys Configuration
Software.

Disconnect any devices that are connected to the output module.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury, or
equipment damage.
Step Action Comment
1 Make sure:
z Unity Pro is connected to the PLC.
z Unity Pro is in run mode.
2 In Unity Pro, select Tools → Data
Editor.
You can see the variable names you
configured:
z MYSTBmyPump1
z MYSTBmyPump2
The Comment column shows the
corresponding module channel for
each name.
3 Right-click on one of the variable
names and select Initialize Animation
Table.
The Table (Data Editor) screen
appears.
4 Click the Modification button.
5 Left-click the Value field for either
channel.
The cursor appears in the field.
6 Enter 1 in the Value field and press
Enter.
Notice that the LED that corresponds
to channel’s Value field is now on for
the STB DDO 3200 module in the
physical Advantys island.
